Video witnessing of Wills
Traditionally, the only method of legally validating a Will was that two witnesses needed to be present when the will was signed.
Given the current Covid-19 pandemic this has caused a significant problem.
Did you know?
Legislation has recently been passed which comes into effect from September 2020 which will allow Wills to be witnessed by video.
This will assist particularly where people are either shielding or have health problems and may be more predisposed to contracting the virus.
We know from experience that people have been concerned and have been looking to make sure that their Wills are up-to-date and in place to ensure that should anything unforeseen happen, their affairs are catered for and in order.

If you or any of your family need to make a Will or update an existing one then please feel free to get in touch and we will be more than happy to assist and make sure that your family are protected should anything unforeseen happen.
